Wonder what Bizaro means? It is the name of a mansion that harbours a group of Bizzare people. What makes them Bizzare? Their past, their present, their lives, their profession - basically everything about them is bizzare and perplexing!
Maliyekkal house is inhabited by a flourished joint family of cashew merchants but as fate would have it, the entire family faces a gut-wrenching massacre that stems from unhealthy business competition. A total of six living beings elapse a fateful night to a different place, with a different life and a different identity. Will they be able to move on? Or will they seek revenge?
In the form of a screenplay, this is a revenge tragedy of a sort with a curious amalgamation of fantasy elements. Supernatural powers, spirits and Orotha's occult past made this entire reading experience ethereal.
It took me a little time to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Maliyekkal family tree, specially because I am not familiar with Malayalam ways and terms. However, in this matter, an appropriate glossary rolled out by the author helps and makes things easier.
Overall, I totally enjoyed this book and if you are bored with conventional plots, pick this up for a BIZZARE read.
